Fresh Start Bible: Direction for Every Day
I’ll never forget when I received my first Bible. I was 28-years old and lived overseas with my husband Randy, stationed on Okinawa with the Air Force. My new friend Connie, whose husband worked with Randy, gifted me with the Bible. Not only that, she asked if I’d like to do a study with her in the Gospel of John. When I said yes, I never imagined that one decision could change my life. As a result, the changes in me influenced Randy and our two sons as well.
Since then, I’ve been blessed to own numerous Bibles of various types and translations. I’m aware that in some parts of the world, even having one Bible is a huge deal. Here I am with a whole shelf of Good News!
The Fresh Start Bible, a recent release from Gateway Press is my latest addition. I would have loved this version as a new Christian. Not only does it include the full biblical texts of Old and New Testaments, but additional features pack the pages. For example:

As I delve deeper into reading the Fresh Start Bible, the content impresses me. For example, the additional resources prove helpful whether this is your first Bible or you’ve been reading God’s Word for many years. I’m excited to read this excellent resource—and to give it away as a gift to family and friends who want to know more about the Christian faith.
